The 8th Wild Adventure Rally 2026, a prestigious national- level Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rally, commenced on Friday in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Organised by Ranchi Adventure Wheelers (RAW) under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) and supported by Jharkhand Tourism, the rally is being held from January 9 to 11, 2026.
The rally is ceremonially flagged off at Khelgaon, Ranchi, by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren, marking a significant boost to motorsports and adventure tourism in the state. The flag-off followed pre- event documentation, vehicle scrutiny, and competitors’ briefing.
Regarded as one of India’s most sought-after TSD motorsport events, the rally challenges participants across diverse terrains including off-road trails, forest stretches, gravel sections, and scenic countryside routes across Jharkhand and neighbouring regions. The competition emphasises precision, endurance, navigation, and team coordination, going beyond speed alone.
The rally will unfold over multiple competitive legs across the next three days, culminating with the final results and prize distribution on January 11, 2026.
Over the years, Ranchi Adventure Wheelers has played a key role in strengthening the motorsport ecosystem in eastern India, creating platforms that combine competitive racing, adventure, and exploration, while positioning Jharkhand as a premier destination for adventure motorsports.
