RAILWAY: RAILWAYS FACILITATE JOYOUS HOLI CELEBRATIONS WITH SPECIAL TRAIN SERVICES

• ER to run eight (08) Holi Special Trains.
• 20,400 berths and more than 1200 Seats to be generated.

Holi and Dol Yatra, the vibrant festivals of colours, are best celebrated with family and friends. During this festive period, people travel extensively to reunite with their loved o­nes or visit popular holiday destinations. Eastern Railway has made special arrangements to ensure passengers can celebrate the festival without disruption. In addition to its regular services, Eastern Railway has decided to run Six (06) Holi special trains in different directions, catering to the increasing demand of passengers traveling to popular destinations during this festive season as well as catering to the need of the people returning home to unify with family members o­n this joyous occasion. To alleviate this issue and ensure hassle-free travel for passengers, the special trains will run between Howrah & Raxaul, Sealdah & Madhubani, Kolkata & Madhubani and Howrah & Khatipura. These special trains will offer additional capacity and flexibility to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival period. More than 1200 seats and 20,400 berths will be generated by running these Holi festival specials.

03043 Howrah – Raxaul Holi Special will leave Howrah at 23:05 hrs o­n 28.02.2026, 07.03.2026 & 14.03.2026 (03 trips) to reach Raxaul at 16:15 hrs o­n the next day and 03044 Raxaul – Howrah Holi Special will leave Raxaul at 17:45 hrs o­n 01.03.2026, 08.03.2026 & 15.03.2026 (03 trips) to reach Howrah at 10:50 hrs o­n the next day. The special train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Dalsingh Sarai, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi and Bairagania stations in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

03045 Howrah – Raxaul Holi Special will leave Howrah at 23:05 hrs o­n 01.03.2026  & 02.03.2026 (02 trip) to reach Raxaul at 16:15 hrs o­n the next day and 03046 Raxaul – Howrah Holi Special will leave Raxaul at 17:45 hrs o­n 02.03.2026 & 03.03.2026 (02 trip) to reach Howrah at 10:50 hrs o­n the next day. The special train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Dalsingh Sarai, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi and Bairagania station in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

03183 Sealdah – Madhubani Holi Special will leave Sealdah at 23:50 hrs. o­n 28.02.2026 &  07.03.2026  (02 trips) to reach Madhubani at 14:30 hrs. o­n the next day and  03184 Madhubani – Sealdah Holi  Special will leave Madhubani  at 15:30 hrs. o­n 01.03.2026 & 08.03.2026  (02 trips) to reach Sealdah  at 06:25 hrs. o­n the next day. The train will stop at Naihati, Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Sakri stations in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

03185 Kolkata – Madhubani Holi Special will leave Kolkata at 23:50 hrs. o­n 27.02.2026 (01 trip) to reach Madhubani at 14:30 hrs. o­n the next day and  03186 Madhubani – Kolkata Holi Special will leave Madhubani at 15:30 hrs. o­n 28.02.2026  (01 trip) to reach Kolkata at 06:25 hrs. o­n the next day. The train will stop at Naihati, Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Sakri stations in both directions enroute. The train will have AC & Non- AC Chair Car, General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

03187 Kolkata – Madhubani Holi Special will leave Kolkata at 23:50 hrs. o­n 03.03.2026 (01 trip) to reach Madhubani at 14:30 hrs. o­n the next day and 03188 Madhubani – Kolkata Holi Special will leave Madhubani at 15:30 hrs. o­n 04.03.2026  (01 trip) to reach Kolkata at 06:25 hrs. o­n the next day. The train will stop at Naihati, Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Sakri stations in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

03007 Howrah – Khatipura Holi Special will leave Howrah at 23:55 hrs. o­n 25.02.2026 & 11.03.2026 (02 trips) to reach Khatipura at 11:30 hrs. o­n the third day and 03008 Khatipura – Howrah Holi Special will leave Khatipura at 17:00 hrs. o­n 27.02.2026 & 13.03.2026 (02 trips) to reach Howrah at 05:15 hrs. o­n the third day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Sheikpura, Nawadah, Tilaya, Gaya, Anugraha N Road, Dehri o­n Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Subedarganj, Govindpuri, Etawah, Bah, Fatehabad, Agra Cantt Jn, Bharatpur, Bandikui Jn. and Dausa stations in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class,  Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned  Accommodations.

In addition to its regular services, Railway has decided to run Two (02) Holi special trains in different directions, catering to the increasing demand of passengers traveling to popular destinations during this festive season as well as catering to the need of the people returning home to unify with family members on this joyous occasion. To alleviate this issue and ensure hassle-free travel for passengers, the special trains will run between Gondia  and  Patna, Tata  and  Katihar,. These special trains will offer additional capacity and flexibility to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival period.

08861 Gondia – Patna Holi Special will leave Gondia at 11:00 hrs on 02.03.2026(Monday), to reach Patna at 15:00 hrs on the next day and 08862 Patna – Gondia Holi Special will leave Patna at 17:15 hrs on 03.03.2026 (Tuesday) to reach Gondia at 23:00 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih stations over Asansol Division of Eastern Railways Jurisdiction both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

08181 Tata – Katihar Holi Special will leave Tata at 13:00 hrs on 02.03.2026 (Monday) to 30.03.2026(Monday) (05 trip) to reach Katihar at 07:30 hrs on the next day and 08182 Katihar – Tata Holi Special will leave Katihar at 10:30 hrs on 03.03.2026(Tuesday) to 31.03.2026(Tuesday) (05 trip) to reach Tata at 04:30 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at  Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih station over Asansol Division of Eastern Railways Jurisdiction both the directions enroute.

The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.
