Ritesh Agarwal-founded PRISM, the parent company of the American lodging brands Motel 6 and Studio 6, will host the annual franchise convention for G6 Hospitality at Moon Palace Cancún, Mexico from April 27–29, 2026. The gathering will bring together several franchise owners and partners from across North America, which also includes Indian-Americans with deep Gujarati roots marking a proud moment for India’s entrepreneurial community on the global business stage.
The convention represents a large-scale gathering since PRISM, the Gurugram headquartered hospitality technology platform, completed its acquisition of G6 Hospitality in December 2024. The Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, with several locations across the United States and Canada, now operate under Indian ownership, a milestone that resonates within the Indian-American business community that has contributed to the franchise network for decades.

The convention will feature a marquee lineup of India’s most beloved artists and entertainers. Sonu Nigam, one of India’s most iconic playback singers with a massive following among the Indian diaspora, will headline the gala evening on April 29. Falguni Pathak, the celebrated face of garba and Indian folk music and a beloved icon within the Gujarati community globally, will lead a high-energy cultural night on April 28. Sunil Grover, one of India’s most popular comedians and television personalities, will bring humor and warmth to the mainstage, while Rishabh [Rikhiram] Sharma will open the conference with a sitar performance on April 27.
The artist lineup is a deliberate tribute to the cultural identity of the franchise community. Falguni Pathak’s presence, in particular, is a nod to the Gujarati franchise owners who have formed the heart of the Motel 6 network across America for generations.
Business Sessions: Building for the Future
Beyond the cultural programming, the convention will feature a comprehensive agenda of business sessions [covering hotel valuation and exit strategies, estate and succession planning, financing in a high-interest rate environment, AI-powered property management, revenue management and extended stay growth, safety, trafficking risk prevention, and next-generation family business leadership], all issues of direct relevance to the Indian American owner community.
