The new Tourism Minister of Bihar, Kedar Prasad Gupta met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi yesterday. On this occasion, the Bihar Tourism Minister shared detailed information with the Union Home Minister regarding the progress of the Tourism Department’s ambitious projects, corridors, investment initiatives, and future action plans in Bihar.
The Tourism Minister Kedar Prasad Gupta had informed the Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the progress of major projects of the Bihar Tourism Department, including the Mata Janaki Janmabhoomi Temple being constructed at Punauradham, the five-star hotel being developed in Patna, the Baba Hariharnath Corridor in Sonepur, the Gaya Ji Corridor, and the Bodh Gaya Corridor.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated these initiatives and directed that the projects be advanced swiftly and effectively through coordination between the State and Central Governments.
He has focussed on heritage preservation and increasing the Buddhist Tourism Circuit infrastructure as his priorities since taking charge as tourism minister of Bihar in May this year.
