The Annual General Meeting of the Travel Agents Association of India – Eastern Region (TAAI-ER) was held today in Kolkata with the enthusiastic participation of members from across the region.
The AGM was graced by TAAI National President Mr. Sunil Kumar R, National Managing Committee Member Mr. Manav Soni, and several other senior members and distinguished representatives of the travel and tourism fraternity. A key agenda of the meeting was the election of the new office bearers for the 2026–2028 term.
Reflecting the members’ confidence in the existing leadership, the entire team was elected unopposed. Mr. Anjani Dhanuka was officially declared elected as Chairman, TAAI Eastern Region. Mr. Sanjeev Churiwalla was elected Honorary Secretary, while Ms. Punam Arora was elected Honorary Treasurer for the 2026–2028 term.
The members congratulated the newly elected team and expressed confidence that, under the continued leadership of Mr. Anjani Dhanuka, TAAI Eastern Region would further strengthen member services, industry representation, professional development and cooperation among travel and tourism stakeholders.
Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Anjani Kumar Dhanuka thanked all the members for their trust and support. He reaffirmed the team’s commitment to serving the members with dedication and taking TAAI Eastern Region to greater heights during TAAI’s historic 75th year.
