Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences has announced the appointment of Neerajita Kundu as People and Culture Manager. Bringing over 11 years of experience in human resources within the hospitality sector, Neerajita has built a diverse career spanning people operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, employee relations and organisational culture. Her extensive industry experience across some of Kolkata’s leading hospitality institutions positions her well to further strengthen the hotel’s people-centric approach and talent ecosystem.
Neerajita’s professional journey encompasses associations with The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata, Neotia Hospitality, Hyatt Regency Kolkata and Fortune Park Hotels by ITC.
Most recently, she served as Human Resource Manager at Fortune Park Hotels by ITC, where she was associated with the property during its pre-opening phase. Prior to this, she spent three years with Hyatt Regency Kolkata as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, further building her expertise across core HR functions and employee engagement initiatives.
In her new role at Novotel Kolkata, Neerajita will spearhead the hotel’s People & Culture function, with a mandate centred on fostering an engaged, empowered and high-performing workforce. Her responsibilities will encompass strengthening employee engagement, nurturing talent, advancing learning and development initiatives, and creating meaningful pathways for professional growth. She will also focus on cultivating an environment built on trust, open communication, recognition and a strong sense of belonging among the hotel’s Heartists.
