AVIATION : AIR ARABIA MARKS ITS FIRST FLIGHT TO ATHENS FROM SHARJAH

( The new direct flights will connect Sharjah and Athens with a frequency of four non-stop weekly flights)

KOLKATA, 29 JUNE 2024:

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier operator, today marked the inauguration of its first flight connecting Sharjah International Airport and Athens International Airport with four non-stop weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

An inaugural ceremony was held on departure at Sharjah International Airport followed by a welcome ceremony on arrival at Athens International Airport, attended by Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, Mr. Antonis Alexandridis, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the UAE, in addition to senior management and guests.
