Indigo Airlines has announced to operate additional flights in the three routes of New Delhi to Leh, New Delhi to Srinagar and Lucknow to Pantnagar from 1 July.
“ The demand for travel has increased amongst the people to Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Kashmir tourism segments , according to Indigo Airlines official statements.
Newest entrant to the Indian skies, Akasha Air of Rakesh Jhunjhunweala has also opened booking from early July.
INTERNATIONAL :
Vietnamese Airlines , Vietjet has also announced plans to connect Indian cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru with the coastal city of Da Nang.
From September, Vietjet will also commence flight operations from New Delhi and Mumbai to Phu Quoc, an island city in Vietnam.
Mumbai based Go First has also started three direct flights in a week from Kochi to Abu Dhabi from 28 June.
United Airlines will also have daily flight services from Bengaluru to San Francisco, later this year.
Flight services from the northern peninsula in Sri Lanka to India will start soon.
From 5 th August this year, Air Asia will start flight services from Lucknow to Bengaluru, New Delhi, Goa, Kolkata and Mumbai.
