Tourism in Saudi Arabia:
Tourism development is an important driver of growth for the future of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the key pillars at the heart of Vision 2030’s plan to help diversify the economy and reduce reliance on oil. The Ministry of Tourism, the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Tourism Development Fund were established in line with international best practice and with clear remits to support the growth of this significant sector and help it to flourish.
AlUla – THE WORLD’S MASTERPIECE :
AlUla is a place of extraordinary human and natural heritage.
STA invites tourists to journey through a living museum of preserved tombs, sandstone outcrops, historic dwellings and monuments, both natural and human-made, that hold 200,000 years of largely unexplored human history. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has long been a crossroads of ancient civilisations — a place of deep history, but one that is constantly evolving. AlUla is an extraordinary example of this and you can soon help write the next pages of its history.
