JAIPUR, 6 MAY 2024:
Ashira Biswas, as a student of Oxford University, had won the second position in a global competition viz. Nobel Peace Prize Challenge Award 2022 for her actionable report. The Nobel Committee had recognized it as an instrument of change and had formally invited her to the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony 2022 in Oslo, Norway.
Ashira Biswas has now been declared the academic topper (equivalent to a Gold Medal in Indian universities) of Trinity College, USA, where she is a final year student of Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics. Meanwhile, during the annual Honors Day ceremonies (May 3, 2024) of her college, Ashira Biswas was presented the prestigious “The G. Keith Funston Prize in Economics” for her“outstanding academic achievement in economics and service to the college.” She was also awarded cash prize and citation.
Ashira is planning to pursue a career in global finance, a sector from which she has received employment offer.
It may be mentioned that Ashira Biswas is the daughter of Sushmit Biswas, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission, Jaipur.
