Newly set up in Ratanpally, Santiniketan, Biswa Aina Student Support Centre is a unique one-stop solution, or as its called, an energy-saver for students and researchers based around the area.
PROBLEM:
Students and researchers often face the challenge of finding reliable and affordable backup services for their academic needs. They have to spend a lot of time and energy searching for different providers at different locations, which affects their productivity and efficiency.
Moreover, availability of digital platforms have become imperative to create Audio-visual presentations and delivering to target audience.
SOLUTION:
To address this challenge, Santiniketan Society for Youth Empowerment, a non-profit organisation, has launched a Student Support Centre at Santiniketan, Bolpur. The centre is designed to serve the students of Visva Bharati University and nearby colleges.
OBJECTIVE:
The Student Support Centre aims to help students and researchers save time and energy, enhance their skills and creativity, and access quality resources and materials for their academic projects and presentations at cost-effective rates.
It offers a range of backup services under one roof, such as
âž” Workstation Services – Individual Work station for Research & Study
âž” Graphic Design Services – Creative support for Designing, Project Report,
Thesis Typing, Graphics, Posters, Brochures etc.
âž” Library – containing books on Art, Craft, Business etc.
âž” Skill Training Room / Tuition Room – Room with AV for conducting Skill
Training/Workshop
âž” Student Stationery Services – Stall for buying of Educational Stationeries
âž” Students Cafe – Tea, Coffee & Snacks counter
âž” Student’s Art Gallery – Exhibition of Student’s Painting & Sculpture
âž” Guest Room – for use by students or their family
This multifaceted support centre providing all-round back-up services is sure to be of great help to the student community of Santiniketan!
