Mr.  Madan Dilawar, Education and Panchayati Raj Minister of Rajasthan Government, during his three-day stay in Kolkata, while speaking in a function “Ek Kadam Shiksha Ki Aur” organized in the Rajasthan Information Center auditorium under the joint aegis of Rachnaakar and Rajasthan Information Center, said that the Rajasthan Government is committed to the  further improve the  educational facilities in the state  and the efforts of the migrant Marwari community in this area are  commendable and has urged to keep this momentum.

The Education and Panchayati raj minister of Rajasthan further  said that the migrant Marwari community of Kolkata metropolis has given him a lot of love and immense support during his stay since the last three days, for which he is  overwhelmed. Speaking to the media he said that the state government is planning to introduce an unique mobile school in the areas where about 50 lakhs migrant population lives and whose children are denied the basic educational facilities. Earlier in the day he has visited the house of Gopal Pantha in Kolkata and paid him tributes.

In the dignified function organized in the Rajasthan Information Auditorium, as a special guest, the famous industrialist Seth Prahlad Rai Goenka, President of Ganga Mission, while expressing his feelings said that Rajasthan is the land of our ancestors and all of us, as always, will walk shoulder to shoulder with the government for the upliftment of the educational level of  Rajasthan.

This program was presided over by Rajasthan Pracharani Sabha President and linguist Ratan Shah. The welcome address was delivered by Rachnaakar’s founder president Suresh Chaudhary (Aggarwal). As a special guest, senior IAS officer Krishna Kunal, Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan’s Education Department, invited the people of the Marwari community of the metropolis to come to Jaipur, Rajasthan to participate in the Pravasi Sammelan to be held in Jaipur on 9, 10, 11 December and to become partners in the development of Rajasthan.

In today’s program “Ek Kadam Shiksha Ki Aur”, first of all, Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations Department of Rajasthan Government, Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo has  welcomed Education Minister Madan Dilawar and informed him about the activities of Rajasthan Information Center. Mr Ratnoo  welcomed Education Minister of Rajasthan Government Madan Dilawar by presenting him the department’s book Sujas and a dupatta.

Education Director of Rajasthan Ashish Modi IAS and Sitaram Jat IAS were also present in this program.

In the program, Rachna Saran, President of Rachnakara of Saraswati Vandana, Chanda Prahladka and Shashi Lahoti , Seema Sharma welcomed Madan Dilawar and the team of Education Department with a Rajasthani song. As special guests, Vice President of Rajasthan Bengal Friendship Council Narayan Jain, President of Maheshwari Library Vishwanath Chandak, Director of Kolkata Creativity Center (Imami) Pramila Shah, famous scholar and brilliant linguist Rajendra Kedia, personality dedicated to Rajasthani language, Jaiprakash Sethia and General Secretary of West Bengal Regional Marwadi Conference Kishan Killa were present on the stage as special guests.

During this, the  Education Minister Madan Dilawar was felicitated by Rachnakara and Rajasthan Information Center by presenting him with a pearl garland, shawl, dupatta and a memento. The two Education Directors of Rajasthan Government Ashish Modi and Sitaram Jat were also present in the program. The President of the Rajasthan Council of Kolkata, Arun Mallavat, Ajit Bachchawat of Parivar Milan, Ashok Kumar Jain, Sanjay Jain, Bardia, Shankarlal Somani, Jitendra Todi, Jagat Baid, O.P. Jhunjhunwala along with hundreds of industrialists, social workers, scholars, litterateurs, writers, thinkers and philanthropists of the city were present. The program was successfully conducted by the Rajasthan Information and Public Relations Department of the Rajasthan Government, Rajasthan Information Center, Kolkata.

In the three day visit for upcoming Rising Rajasthan about Rs.300 crores MoU was signed for education sector investments by the expatriate Marwari investors of Kolkata.

Assistant Director  of Rajasthan Information Centre, Kolkata , Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo  compered the event  has enthralled the audience with  his witty dialogues and rich  poetry , while Sharda Chaudhury presented the vote of thanks. Lastly the education minister met with the local media persons before leaving for the airport.
