Chhattisgarh Tourism Board marked its active participation in the 40th Annual Convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Mr. Neelu Sharma, and Managing Director, Mr. Vivek Acharya, addressed tour operators, travel agents, hoteliers, and representatives from the tourism industry from India and abroad.

In his address, Mr. Sharma elaborated on the tourism potential of Chhattisgarh, highlighting the state’s unique features and its rich natural and cultural heritage. He emphasized that the state is now fully prepared for MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and is capable of hosting national and international events. He also invited tourism investments and partnerships.

At the convention, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board set up an attractive promotional stall, where detailed information about various theme-based tourist destinations and products of the state was provided. More than 20 registered travel agents from Chhattisgarh actively participated in this initiative along with the Board.

The convention was graced by the presence of Union Minister of Tourism, Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Ms. Parvati Parida, senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, and representatives of the tourism industry from India and abroad.
