Pragyaalay Sansthan, which organizes literary and creative events with dedication and innovation, has been continuously taking positive initiatives to take the work of the great Italian scholar, pioneer of Rajasthani language, Dr. Luigi Pio Tassitori, to the people since the year 1980.
Through the initiative of presenting Dr. Tassitori Pragya-Samman to the eminent personalities working mainly in the field of Rajasthani language recognition, literature, culture and art, especially in the state and country, was started from the year 2022.
Ceremony convenor, Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo and coordinator, Mr. Rajkumar Vyas said that the Dr. Tassitori Prajna-Samman is being organized by Prajnalay Sansthan and Smt. Kamala-Lakshminarayan Ranga Trust in collaboration with the Rajasthan Information Center of Kolkata.
Senior Rajasthani litterateur and promoter of Rajasthani language recognition movement , Mr. Kamal Ranga said that in this sequence, expatriate Rajasthani personalities will be honored on Saturday, 20 April 2024 at 3 pm in the Rajasthan Information Center Auditorium of Kolkata.
Program convenor and Rajasthani cultural worker, Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo said that on the said day, among the expatriate Rajasthani personalities, Dr. Tassitori Sahitya Prajna-Samman will be offered to senior Rajasthani litterateur Mr. Banshidhar Sharma, Dr. Tassitori Bhasha Prajna-Samman to Mr. Ratan Shah, an important supporter of Rajasthani language and Dr. Tassitori Sanskriti Prajna-Samman to Mahavir Prasad Bajaj, a dedicated scholar of Rajasthani culture.
Coordinator of the program Rajkumar Vyas said that the three dignitaries will be honored by the president of the ceremony, eminent Rajasthani scholar , Mr. Rajendra Kedia and chief guest, Mr. Vishwanath Chandak, an expert on Rajasthani folk culture, by presenting them shawls, coconuts, certificates, garlands, symbols, etc.
The coordinator of the ceremony will be Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Kolkata. In the same sequence, the coordinator of the ceremony will be Mr. Rajkumar Vyas, General Secretary, Vipra Foundation West Bengal.
Mr. Kamal Ranga said that the organization had decided to give this ceremony an honour by visiting the residence of the expatriate dignitaries. Many dignitaries including Bhairauratan Ranga, Ramesh Jajda, Indrajit Ranga, Piyush Purohit will be present as representatives from the organization to participate in this ceremony.
