The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai has recently hosted the K-Harmony Festa on Sunday, 12th October 2025, at Jio World Drive, BKC.
The festival gave Mumbaikars a glimpse into the growing cultural and tourism ties between India and South Korea through an afternoon of food, music, and artistic exchange.
The Principal Secretary, Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, Dr. Atul Patne (IAS) attended the event alongside Consul General of the Republic of Korea, Shri Dongwan Yoo, and Director of the Korean Cultural Centre India, Shri Hwang Il Yong.
Dr. Patne highlighted the timeless cultural and historical bond shared by India and South Korea – from ancient Buddhist connections to the growing exchange of music, movies, art, and cuisine – reaffirming Maharashtra Tourism’s commitment to strengthening these ties through cultural exchanges and heritage circuits that celebrate shared values between the two nations.
The festival concluded with a vibrant lineup of evening performances, including a Taekwondo demonstration, traditional dance and music acts, and a live concert by YOUNITE, the popular K-pop boy band.
