The Indraprastha Dance Festival, organized by Delhi Tourism (Government of Delhi), offers a golden opportunity to witness the rich tradition of Indian classical dance against the magnificent backdrop of Delhi’s historic Purana Qila (Old Fort).

The primary objective of the festival is to raise awareness about and promote India’s rich classical dance traditions among Delhi’s audiences. Bringing together over 150 dancers from India and abroad, the festival presents a vibrant confluence of tradition, talent, and creativity, showcasing the diversity and profound cultural heritage of Indian classical dance.

Set against the glorious backdrop of one of Delhi’s oldest historical monuments, the festival celebrates the timeless beauty and deep cultural legacy of Indian classical dances. These dances forms, deeply rooted in tradition, are being presented to contemporary audiences. The second edition of the festival features the participation of the country’s esteemed
