A high-level delegation of the Maha All India Marwari Federation paid a courtesy visit to Cabinet Minister (PHE & PWD), Government of West Bengal, Dr. Ajay Kumar Poddar. During the meeting, meaningful and positive discussions were held on the role of the Marwari community in the current political scenario and its significant contribution to the overall development of West Bengal.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Hon’ble Minister of the various initiatives being undertaken by the organization for social welfare and public service. Appreciating the Federation’s efforts, Hon’ble Minister Dr. Ajay Kumar Poddar said that the Marwari community has always been a strong pillar of Bengal’s economic and social development. He assured the organization of the government’s full cooperation and continued coordination in every possible way.

The Hon’ble Minister said that the Maha All India Marwari Federation has been playing a commendable role in uniting the community and contributing to developmental activities. He added that the government and the community would continue to work together for the progress of the state in the future.
The meeting was attended by the Federation’s senior office bearers and prominent industrialists of the city, including President Shri Ratanlal Agrawal, General Secretary Shri Kishan Kila, Senior Patron Member and Industrialist Shri Krishna Kumar Singhania, Industrialist Shri Om Prakash Todi, and Senior Office Bearer Shri Shambhu Modi.
Impressed by the Federation’s functioning and its commitment to social causes, the Hon’ble Minister also assured that he would participate in various programs and conferences to be organized by the Federation in the coming days.
The meeting has generated great enthusiasm among members of the Marwari community and the Federation’s workers.
