Dingal and Rajasthani young poet (Ashu Kavi) Girdhari Dan Beethu, a resident of TapobhoomiSinghsthal, was honored today at Jayanarayan Vyas Colony. The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Assistant Director of the Information & Public Relations Department, Rajasthan Information Centre Kolkata; senior litterateur Mr.Jagdish Ratnoo; Rajendra Ratnu; Sunil Prajapat, and others.
It is noteworthy that Girdhari Dan Beethu, who works in the Education Department and writes poetry in Dingal and Rajasthani on themes of devotion and contemporary issues, is emerging as a rising star in the literary world. Last year, he was also felicitated with the Jaipur Alankaran Award by the Jaipur Foundation, presented by the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Diya Kumari Ji.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. HinglajDan Ratnoo said that this honour is, in fact, a recognition of literary values and concerns—something that is the pressing need of today’s era.
