Sayaji Kolhapur is all set to bring an exciting culinary experience to the city with Hakuna Matata – The Great African Food Feast at Barbeque Nation Kolhapur. Taking place from June 12 to 21, 2026, the festival promises to immerse guests in the vibrant flavours, culture, and hospitality of Africa during the dinner session.
Inspired by the spirit of Africa, Hakuna Matata offers a unique dining experience where guests can immerse themselves in a tropical jungle-themed setting while enjoying a specially curated menu featuring African-inspired delicacies and grilled specialities. The menu includes signature dishes such as BBQ African Cinnamon Fruits, Shakalaka Veg Bullets, Woka Woka Grilled Sweet Potato, Caribbean Drum Steak, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Kuku Paka, and a variety of other flavourful offerings. Guests can also enjoy specially crafted cocktails and mocktails served in tiki glasses, adding an exotic touch to the celebration.
The festival venue will be transformed with jungle-inspired décor featuring African tribal cut-outs, animal-themed installations, and vibrant visual elements that capture the essence of Africa. Enhancing the immersive experience, the Barbeque Nation team will be dressed in jungle-themed attire, creating a lively and festive atmosphere throughout the event.
