The 37th meeting of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board was held today at the Board’s headquarters in the state capital, Raipurrecently .
Presided over by the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Mr. Neelu Sharma, the meeting featured a detailed presentation by Managing Director Mr. Vivek Acharya on 23 agendas. Members of the Board of Directors approved the proposals and also shared important suggestions. Senior officials of the Tourism Board were also present.
The primary objectives of the meeting were to give new direction to the development of tourism in Chhattisgarh, review previously approved projects, and take collective decisions on upcoming initiatives. Along with the 23 main agendas, two additional agendas were discussed with the permission of the Chairman, and three updates were also shared.
Chairing the meeting, Mr. Neelu Sharma said,“To bring global recognition to Chhattisgarh’s cultural diversity, natural beauty, and historical heritage, we must work together to develop a strong and visionary strategy. Our goal is not just to promote tourism, but also to create local employment, drive economic growth, and ensure the preservation of our culture.”
The approved proposals from the meeting will soon be forwarded to the respective departments for implementation. In the coming time, these initiatives are expected to set new milestones for Chhattisgarh’s tourism sector.
