KOLKATA, 9 JANUARY 2024:
The 21st annual festival of the devotee group (Magara area) Howrah Kolkata of the folk deity Baba Ramdev Ji, the center of faith of the people, the incarnation of Lord Shri Krishna, was concluded as a grand and dignified ceremony at Shri Ram Vatika Howrah.
The presence of thousands of expatriate Marwari industrialists from the Magra region was stirring the devotion, faith, zeal and enthusiasm in the minds of the expatriate Rajasthani people of Kolkata.
The Muktakaash stage of Shri Ram Vatika Howrah was decorated with various tableaux of Baba Ramdev and thousands of elders, men, women and children present witnessed this grand religious and cultural ceremony.
Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations Department of Rajasthan Government, Kolkata was present as the chief guest on the occasion. He further said that the works of Baba Ramdev Bhakta Mandal Kolkata in the field of religion and spirituality is inspiring for millions of people.
Mr. Jainarayan ji bhootra, an official of Baba Ramdev Bhakta Mandal (Magra area) give him flower bouquets.
Kanwar Lal ji Chandak, Chand Ratan ji Rathi, Jagdish ji Harsh, while speaking in Rajasthani language from the stage, congratulated the organizers of this program and said, “Rama kahoon ka Ramde, Hira kahoon ka Lal, jan ne mitia Ramde, van ne kiya nihaal” and Siyaale khatu bhali, unhao Ajmer, naganon nit ro bhalo, sawan Bikaner” and when he said that magaro magare chiya ro hai”,
The courtyard echoed with thousands of kartal sounds. Yajna Havan, rituals, and grand tableaux of Baba added to the grandeur of this huge annual festival celebration. When the famous folk bhajan singers of Rajasthan, Mr. Daulat Garva Nagaur and Mr. Talib Hindustani Bikaner sang devotional songs on the Muktakash stage of Shri Ram Vatika Howrah, the entire atmosphere became devotional and about four thousand migrant Marwaris graced the occasion by being present here.
There was proper arrangement for distribution of food and Baba’s Prasad in the program. On this occasion, In the end Mr. Hinglag Dan Ratnoo praised the organizers for organizing such an event and appreciated the work of the organisers.
