The Times of India in association with The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat along with The Tresind (Mumbai) is all set to showcase the rich and bold Indian flavors of India's diverse culinary heritage which will take you to a gastronomic journey on July 28, 29 and 30 at 31, The Lounge.

Trèsind, the multi-award winning & critically acclaimed flagship of Passion F&B, Dubai is the

birthplace of ‘innovative Indian cuisine’, offering guests a progressive Indian fine-dining experience. Paving the path towards fostering the legacy of Indian food and flag bearer of contemporary Indian food, Trèsind will be the star of this culinary extravaganza. Led by Chef Sarfaraz Ahmed, Trèsind has garnered accolades since its establishment in Dubai in 2014, and later in Mumbai in 2018. It was even featured in the prestigious Dubai Michelin Guide and MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Chef Sarfaraz Ahmed, hailing from Shimla and a graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management in Lucknow, will be the highlight of this pop-up event. With a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and specialization in kitchen management and food production he will be showcasing the traditional dishes from the sub-continent presented with a modernistic approach. Embracing various regional Indian culinary influences that have woven its way into the cuisine, Trèsind’s menu is sophisticated, imaginative, highly visual and engaging, lending each dining experience as a unique culinary journey.

This culinary journey will showcase Chef Sarfaraz Ahmed specially curating an exquisite menu that will feature a 10 course meal for the food connoisseurs of Kolkata. Among the highlights of this extraordinary menu are the mouthwatering ‘kohlrabi taco’, ‘bun kebab’, ‘chicken khasi’, ‘confit duck’ and  the delectable ‘malai burrata’, to name just a few. Be prepared to indulge in a gastronomic journey like no other, curated by Chef Sarfaraz’s expertise and unwavering dedication to culinary excellence.
