Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the opening of Ginger Kochi, MG Road in Kerala.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said, “The opening of Ginger Kochi, MG Road reaffirms our confidence in the significant potential of Kochi, Kerala’s commercial capital. It is also the key gateway for tourism into the state. This will be our second Ginger branded hotel in the city reflective of the demand and multiple micro markets present in the city.”
Strategically located on Mahatma Gandhi Road, the 73 keys hotel is close to Kochi’s major attractions. At Ginger Kochi M.G. Road, guests can savor delectable culinary delights at Qmin – the signature all-day diner, or maintain their fitness routine at the fitness center and a swimming pool. The hotel also features a meeting room as well as a spacious banquet hall for special events and celebrations.
Located in the Kochi suburb of Kalamassery and 5 minutes from Lulu Mall on the Salem-Kochi Highway, Ginger Kochi is conveniently accessible from MG Road and Marine Drive in the city centre, as well as the Kochi Airport, the Cochin SEZ, Kochi Infopark, SmartCity, Kalamassery Industrial Estate, and Vallarpadam Transhipment Terminal, to name a few.
Called the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”, Kochi in the state of Kerala, is a major port city on the Malabar Coast of India.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 17 hotels in Kerala, including five under development.
