In an exquisite collaboration, The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat, along with The Times of India and The Tresind (Mumbai) presented a 3-day savory celebration of rich and innovative Indian cuisine over a ten-course meal, enchanting the food epicureans of Kolkata with a delightful culinary experience.

The property has emerged as a paradise for food enthusiasts, offering a delightful array of cuisines and playing host to esteemed chefs from all corners of the nation. The hotel has been the venue for a remarkable series of pop-up events in the past, featuring culinary legends such as Celebrated Chef Matteo Girelli of   Le Poisson Rouge to eminent Chef Jiyeol Kim, the official chef of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

The culinary showcase took place on July 28, 29, and 30 at 31, The Lounge. The gastronomic feast proved to be an immense success, brilliantly displaying our country’s rich cultural heritage within a contemporary setting. Chef Sarfaraz Ahmed took special care in crafting a captivating menu featuring an array of delectable dishes such as the tantalizing ‘kohlrabi taco’, the savory ‘bun kebab’, the flavorful ‘chicken khasi’, the succulent ‘confit duck’, and not to forget the delightful ‘malai burrata’, among other mouthwatering delights.
