(Grand Pavilion at South Asia Travel and Tourism Exhibition 2026; Participation of 36 Stakeholders)

Chhattisgarh once again marked its strong presence on the international tourism platform. The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board set up a grand Chhattisgarh Pavilion at the South Asia Travel and Tourism Exhibition 2026, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, from February 25 to 27, showcasing the state’s rich tourism potential.

During the three-day international event, 36 registered stakeholder organizations participated jointly with the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board. Together, they presented the state’s natural beauty, tribal culture, the unique identity of Bastar, religious sites, wildlife tourism, and adventure tourism opportunities to tour operators and travel representatives from India and abroad.

Throughout the exhibition, the Chhattisgarh Pavilion witnessed a steady influx of tour operators, hoteliers, and tourism experts from various states and countries. Stakeholders received positive business responses, and preliminary discussions were held regarding several potential business partnerships.

On this occasion, Poonam Sharma, DGM, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, said:

“Chhattisgarh’s strong presence at the international tourism exhibition is a matter of pride for the state. Through this platform, we are successfully promoting Chhattisgarh’s unique cultural heritage, eco-tourism, and unexplored natural destinations on a global level. The active participation of our registered stakeholders will create new opportunities for tourism investment and employment in the state.”

Notably, tourism departments from Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Delhi participated in the international exhibition alongside Chhattisgarh. Representatives from Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan were also actively involved.

Over the course of the three-day event, the Chhattisgarh Pavilion attracted significant attention from tourism experts across India and abroad, marking an important step toward establishing the state as an emerging tourism destination.
