Tatabye Maldives, also known as Tatabye Tours, a Destination Management Company (DMC) specialising in the Maldives, has successfully concluded one of the largest-ever Maldives roadshows in India by a DMC. This exclusive four-city event, endorsed by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) /Visit Maldives, took place from May 12 to 16, 2025, across Kochi, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
Founded in 2014 by Roshan Jain, Tatabye Tours has grown from a passionate start-up into a trusted DMC with a focus on premium island getaways across the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Mauritius. With a deep-rooted presence in the South Indian market, the company has earned a strong reputation for curating exceptional travel experiences for its clientele.
The roadshow drew more than 450+ top travel agents and industry professionals from the four cities, establishing a new benchmark in B2B engagement for Maldives tourism.
Featuring direct interactions with 22 leading Maldives resorts, the event allowed travel agents to engage with key resort representatives and explore exclusive offerings. The event showcased key tourism segments, including leisure, luxury, weddings, and MICE, and provided a vital platform for partners to explore new opportunities and strengthen trade relationships.
The grand finale in Bengaluru was the highlight of the roadshow, drawing the largest turnout and concluding with special awards and a lucky draw. Lucky draws were held across all four cities, with prizes generously offered by Furaveri, Medhufushi, Le Meridien, Adaaran Select Huduranfushi, Universal Resorts, Centara Ras Fushi, Dusit, and dusitD2. Luxurious two- night, full-board stays with seaplane or speedboat transfers were up for grabs for participating agents.
Commenting on the roadshow's success, Roshan Jain, Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing at Tatabye Tours, said, “The success of the roadshow surpassed expectations.
Buyers were particularly impressed by the extensive showcase of resorts, which was a first for the South Indian market. We look forward to bringing the next roadshow to West and North India, focusing on tier 2 and 3 cities where we see the greatest potential.”
Tatabye Maldives continues to reinforce its position as India’s only DMC with direct contracts to over 149 Maldives resorts, eliminating middlemen and enhancing travel agent margins. India currently ranks as the sixth-largest source market for the Maldives, and initiatives like this roadshow demonstrate Tatabye’s commitment to making the Maldives more accessible, profitable, and seamless for Indian travel partners.
Following this milestone event, Tatabye Maldives plans to further expand its reach and solidify its leadership as the go-to DMC for the Maldives in the Indian subcontinent.
