Tatabye Tours has concluded the second edition of its Maldives roadshow in India, expanding its footprint across Western India. The four-city roadshow, endorsed by Visit Maldives, was held in Ahmedabad on March 31, 2026, Vadodara on April 1, 2026, Surat on April 3, 2026, and Pune on April 4, 2026, marking another significant milestone in the company’s India outreach strategy.

Building on the momentum of its South India edition, the Western India roadshow witnessed strong participation from travel agents and industry professionals, further strengthening the Maldives’ positioning as a preferred luxury travel destination among Indian travellers.

The event recorded participation from more than 520 travel professionals across four cities, alongside 25 renowned Maldives resorts, enhancing its scale and industry relevance.

The roadshow was formally inaugurated in Ahmedabad by  Aishath Azeema, High Commissioner of the Maldives to India, whose presence underscored the growing tourism and diplomatic ties between India and the Maldives.

Speaking at the event, Her Excellency highlighted India’s importance as a key partner, noting strong people-to-people connections and the Maldives’ appeal for segments such as honeymoons and celebrations. She also acknowledged Tatabye’s role in strengthening tourism collaboration between the two markets.

Since its inception in 2014, Tatabye Tours, founded by Roshan Jain, has evolved into a premier Destination Management Company specialising in luxury island experiences across the Maldives and beyond. The second edition of the roadshow further reinforced the company’s commitment to expanding its reach across key Indian markets.

The event brought together leading Maldives resort partners and showcased a wide range of offerings across leisure, luxury, weddings, and MICE segments. It provided a dynamic B2B platform for travel agents to engage directly with resort representatives, explore exclusive deals, and strengthen business relationships.

Each city witnessed enthusiastic participation, with curated networking sessions, presentations, and interactive engagements designed to enhance product knowledge and drive sales for the Maldives as a top-tier destination.

Commenting on the outcome of the event, Roshan Jain, Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing at Tatabye Tours, said, “The second edition of our Maldives four-city roadshow, our biggest to date, has delivered a highly encouraging outcome. The strong response across all cities reflects not only the strength of our partnerships but also the rising aspiration of Indian travellers towards luxury island experiences. This platform has enabled us to deepen collaborations, foster meaningful connections, and further position the Maldives as a leading premium destination in the market.”

With the Western India edition, Tatabye Tours continues to strengthen its leadership position as a key Maldives-focused DMC in the Indian market. The initiative also highlights the growing importance of India as a source market for Maldives tourism and Tatabye’s ongoing efforts to make luxury island travel more accessible and rewarding for its travel trade partners.

Following the positive momentum generated by both editions, Tatabye Tours is expected to further expand its roadshow series across North and Central India, continuing its mission to bring the Maldives closer to Indian travellers.
