Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held an important meeting on Saturday with key investors, prominent film producers, and celebrated actors on the sidelines of the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium. The meeting aimed to strengthen tourism infrastructure and promote Madhya Pradesh as a preferred destination for film shoots and wedding tourism.

The Chief Minister interacted one-on-one with leading industry representatives to explore investment opportunities in the tourism and film sectors. Among those who met the Chief Minister were renowned filmmaker Ms. Ekta Kapoor, noted actors Mr. Gajraj Rao and Mr. Raghubir Yadav, as well as Ms. Lara Molina from the Spanish Film Commission and film producer Ms. Anna Saura.
Assuring full support from the state government, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is committed to transforming Madhya Pradesh into one of the most attractive destinations for tourism and film production in India.
The meeting was also graced by Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and Religious Trusts & Endowments Shri Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes, Minorities and Nomadic Tribes Welfare Smt. Krishna Gaur.

Several prominent representatives from the hotel and hospitality sector participated in the discussion, highlighting potential investment avenues. Key participants included Mr. Parveen Chander Kumar, EVP (Commercial), Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL); Mr. Ram Ola, Jet Serve Aviation Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director, Atmosphere Core; Mr. Anirudh Kandpal, Co-founder, The Postcard Hotel; Mr. Vinayak Kalani, Managing Director, Treasure Group; Mr. Jitendra Singh, Director, MRVH Resorts Pvt. To promote Madhya Pradesh as a premier wedding destination, the Chief Minister also interacted with wedding planners, travel experts, and event management professionals. The participants included Mr. Naveen Kundu (Tourism Futures), Mr. Rakesh Kumar Rana (Yatra.com), Mr. Rajan Sehgal (President, Indian Golf Tourism Association – IGTA), celebrity chef Mr. Manjit Gill, Mr. Vikramjeet Sharma (LaFlorence Weddings), wedding and travel journalist Ms. Shruti Singh, Ms. Ekta Sehgal Lulla (ESL Events), Ms. Esha Agarwal (Wedding Chapters), Mr. Samar Om Prakash Verma (Curly Tales Digital Media Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Anuj Madan (Diligence Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Prateek Gupta (Zoo Media), Mr. Suraj Dhawan (Indian Exhibition Industry Association), and Mr. Rajiv Malhotra (Lotus Exhibitions & Marketing Services).
The high-level discussions reflected the state’s growing emphasis on leveraging tourism as a key driver of economic growth, while enhancing Madhya Pradesh’s appeal as the Heart of Incredible India — a destination where heritage, nature, creativity, and hospitality come together to create lasting experiences.
