Sula Vineyards, India’s most awarded and pioneering wine producer, introduces The Source Grenache Red, the newest addition to its premium The Source portfolio. Crafted from 100% Grenache grapes, this red wine is a fresh, vibrant, and easy drinking expression that brings out the varietal’s fruit forward character and smooth texture. Marking the eighth wine in the range, the launch builds on the strong momentum of The Source, which continues to see double digit growth and increasing consumer preference across markets.
At the heart of this launch lies a natural progression. Following the strong response to The Source Grenache Rosé and the growing recognition of Grenache as a versatile varietal, The Source Grenache Red takes the story forward offering a deeper, more layered expression while staying true to the brand’s approachable style. The recent launch of The Source Chardonnay Reserve earlier this year further reflects how the portfolio continues to evolve with intent and clarity.
A medium bodied wine with 13% ABV, The Source Grenache Red opens with inviting aromas of strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry. On the palate, it is juicy and silky smooth, with vibrant red berries and sun ripened cherries complemented by a subtle hint of spice. Balanced acidity, medium tannins, and a clean, fruit driven finish make it an easy and enjoyable choice across occasions.
Designed for relaxed dining and everyday indulgence, the wine pairs effortlessly with dishes such as chicken tikka, paneer tikka, mild curries, tomato-based pastas, pizzas, and roasted vegetables. The Source continues to build a strong identity through expressive, terroir driven wines rooted in thoughtful winemaking, and with a steadily expanding portfolio, this addition brings a vibrant red into the mix.

The Source Grenache Red is priced at ₹1,295 for a 750 ml bottle and ₹727 for a 375 ml bottle. The wine is now available in wine shops across Mumbai
