4,800 berths will be generated by running Summer special trains between Asansol and Porbandar. Railway remains committed to prioritizing passenger comfort and convenience, especially during periods of increased demand such as the summer season. By proactively addressing passenger needs and introducing this special train, Eastern Railway reaffirms its dedication to providing quality transportation services and ensuring a positive travel experience for all passengers. The decision to introduce this summer special train aims to alleviate the extra rush of passengers and ensure smooth and convenient travel. By offering additional train services, Eastern Railway aims to ensure that passengers have access to adequate transportation facilities, thereby enhancing their travel experience and meeting their evolving needs.
09205 Porbandar – Asansol Summer Special will leave Porbandar at 08:50 hrs. on 10.04.2025 & 17.04.2025 (02 trips) to reach Asansol at 06:45 hrs. on the 3rd day and 09206 Asansol – Porbandar Summer Special will leave Asansol at 17:45 hrs. on 12.04.2025 & 19.04.2025 (02 trips) to reach Porbandar at 13:45 hrs. on the 3rd day. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

RUNNING OF PATNA-PURI-PATNA WEEKLY EXPRESS SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN:
East Central Railway authority has been decided to running of 03230/03229 Patna-Puri-Patna weekly expresses summer Special from Patna 10.04.2025 to 12.06.2025(10) trips on every Thursday and from Puri 11.04.2025 to13.06.2025 (10) trips on every Friday. The decision to introduce these summer special trains aims to alleviate the extra rush of passengers and ensure smooth and convenient travel. By offering additional train services, Railway aims to ensure that passengers have access to adequate transportation facilities thereby enhancing their travel experience and meeting their evolving needs to clear the extra rush of passengers.
03230 Patna-Puri Summer Special will leave Patna at 08:45 hrs. On every Thursday between 10.04.2025 & 12.06.2025 (10 trips) to reach Puri at 05:00 hrs. On the 2nd day and 03229 Puri-Patna Summer Special will leave Puri at 14:55 hrs. On every Friday between 11.04.2025 & 13.06.2025 (10 trips) to reach Patna at 10:45 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Jasidih,Madhupur,Chittaranjan,Asansol & Durgapur stations of Asansol Division over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute.
The train will have General second class and Air conditioned coaches.
