Huge flux of pilgrims is observable with the special arrangements of additional amenities and trains made by Eastern Railway for Shravani Mela at Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar.
The ticket sales figure upto 5th Day of Shravani Mela ( i.e. till 08.07.2023) indicates that as many as 103980 passengers passed through the key stations like Jasidih, Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar and Basukinath station . The brake-up of number of passenger shown that 76044 numbers of passengers availed Jasidih station, 12758 numbers of passengers recorded at Baidyanath Dham station, 9951 numbers at Deoghar station & 5227 Numbers at Basukinath station.
In respect of additional earning from passengers during Shravani Mela upto 5th Day of Mela, Eastern Railway has earned a total of Rs 7386095 form ticket sales at Jasidih, Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar and Basukinath stations.
Under the guidance of Mr. Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager / Eastern Railway , Mr. Parmanand Sharma, Divisional Railway Manager / Asansol is continuously monitoring for maintaining all possible amenities for the comfort of pilgrims arriving at different key stations for Shravani Mela at Baidyanath Dham temple.
