The Maha Kumbh Mela, a once-in-12-years celestial event, holds immense spiritual and cultural significance for millions of devotees from across the globe. Recognized as the largest human congregation on Earth, the Maha Kumbh is a celebration of faith, devotion, and tradition. To ensure seamless travel and accommodate the massive influx of pilgrims attending this grand spiritual gathering, Railway is delighted to announce the operation of 11 pairs of Kumbh Mela Special trains which will run between Sealdah & Tundla, Howrah & Tundla, Asansol & Tundla and Malda Town & Jhusi . This initiative will generate more berths, providing safe, comfortable, and convenient travel options for devotees embarking on their sacred journey.
03105 Sealdah – Tunda Kumbh Mela Special will leave Sealdah at 08:10 hrs. on 21.02.2025 to reach Tundla Jn. at 06:30 hrs. on the next day. 03106 Tunda – Sealdah Kumbh Mela Special will leave Tundla at 11:20 hrs. on 22.02.2025 to reach Sealdah at 13:00 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Nsc Bose J Gomo, Parasnath, Hazaribagh Rd, Koderma, Gaya, Anugraha N Road, Dehri on Sone, Sasaram, Bhabhu Rd, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Mirzapur, Pryagraj Jn., Fatehpur, Govindpuri and Etawah Jn. stations in both directions enroute. The train will have Air-Conditioned accommodations.
03063 and 03035 Howrah – Tunda Kumbh Mela Special will leave Howrah at 19:35 hrs. on 15.02.2025, 22.02.2025 & 23.02.2025 to reach Tundla Jn. at 19:20 hrs. on the next day. 03064 and 03036 Tunda – Howrah Kumbh Mela Special will leave Tundla at 03:00 hrs. on 17.02.2025, 24.02.2025 & 25.02.2025 to reach Howrah at 02:30 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Nsc Bose J Gomo, Parasnath, Hazaribagh Rd, Koderma, Gaya, Anugraha N Road, Dehri on Sone, Sasaram, Bhabhu Rd, Pt. 03505 and 03561 Asansol – Tundla Kumbh Mela Special will leave Asansol at 11:15 hrs. on 18.02.2025 & 21.02.2025 respectively to reach Tundla Jn. at 07:00 hrs. on the next day. 03506 and 03562 Tundla Jn. – Asansol Kumbh Mela Special will leave Tundla Jn. at 11:40 hrs. on 19.02.2025 & 22.02.2025 respectively to reach Asansol at 09:50 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jashidih, Jhajha, Kiul Jn, Patna Jn., Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Mirzapur, Pryagraj Jn., Fatehpur, Govindpuri and Etawah Jn. stations in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.
03417, 03429 and 03411 Malda Town – Jhusi Kumbh Mela Special will leave Malda Town at 20:45 hrs. on 16.02.2025, 17.02.2025, 18.02.2025, 23.02.2025 and 24.02.2025 to reach Jhusi at 17:15 hrs. on the next day. 03418, 03430 and 03412 Jhusi – Malda Town Kumbh Mela Special will leave Jhusi at 19:15 hrs. on 17.02.2025, 18.02.2025, 19.02.2025, 24.02.2025 and 25.02.2025 to reach Malda Town at 14:30 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at New Farakka Jn., Barharwa Jn., Sahibganj Jn., Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur Jn., Abhaipur, Kiul Jn. Mokameh, Barh, Bhakhtiyarpur, Rajendra Nagar, Patna Jn., Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Varanasi and Banaras stations in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.
The booking of 03063 and 03035 Howrah – Tunda Kumbh Mela Special is available through PRS and internet and booking of 03105 Sealdah – Tunda Kumbh Mela Special , 03505 and 03561 Asansol – Tundla Kumbh Mela Special and 03417, 03429 and 03411 Malda Town – Jhusi Kumbh Mela Special will be notified shortly.
