Recognizing the significant demand for travel and to accommodate the surge in passengers traveling between Sealdah and Gorakhpur during the festive occasion of Holi, Eastern Railway has decided to run special train between Sealdah & Gorakhpur.
Holi, the vibrant festival of colors, is widely celebrated across India where it brings communities together in joyous revelry. However, the increased demand for travel during this period often leads to challenges in securing train tickets.
03131 Sealdah – Gorakhpur Holi Special will leave Sealdah at 18.15 hrs on 22.03.2024 (01 trip) to reach Gorakhpur at 10.10 hrs on the next day and 03132 Gorakhpur- Sealdah Holi Special will leave Gorakhpur at 11.30 hrs on 23.03.2024 (01 trip) to reach Sealdah at 06.25 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations within Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute.

The special trains will have General Coach, Sleeper Coach & Air-conditioned accommodation. By introducing these Holi Special Trains, a large number of berths will be generated providing much needed relief to the surge in passenger numbers during these Holi Festival.
