Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has come forward with a host of tour packages for the tourists, including Jannat – E Kashmir and Naturally Nepal ( Kathmandu and Pokhara).
The 5 nights 6 days tour package for Kashmir, the Paradise on earth per person costs Rs.35,900 and covers the tourism hotspots like Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg.
The IRCTC Air Tour package will start from Patna, then a layover at New Delhi and then Srinagar. The tour will start from 1 September.
The package includes, cost of flight tickets, which is air travel in economy class, lunch and dinner for five days, transportations by tourist vehicles as per the itinerary and taxes.
At present 40 seats are available for the package tour. Tourists will be staying at Akbar Hotel or of similar category according to the availability of rooms.
The cost for single occupancy is Rs.48,300, double occupancy Rs.35,900, triple occupancy ( child with bed) Rs.35,250, child without bed ( 5 to 11 years) Rs.29,950, child without bed ( 2 to 4 years) Rs.23,850. The IRCTC tour package to Kashmir by air will be through GoAir ( G8) airlines.
The five night and six days Nepal air tour package starting at Rs.38,400. The package tour will start from 8 August.
The flight will start from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and reach Kathmandu via New Delhi.
The airfare, three star hotel accommodations, intra Nepal
Transportation, three free meals, tourist guides etc are included in this package.
On day one tourists will have the opportunity to visit Pashupatinath Temple, Patan, Durbar Square, Tibetan Refugee Centre and Swayambhunath Stupa on the second day.
Followed by Pokhara, Manakamana Temple. Next day, enjoy sunshine in the Himalayas and an early morning excursion to Surangkot, Bindabasini Temple, Devil’s fall, Gupteswar Mahadev cave. Next day tourists will return back to Kathmandu and spend the remaining time for leisure before departure by flight.
The price of double occupancy is Rs.38,700 and for single occupancy Rs.46,900. Triple occupancy rate is Rs.38,400. The flight services will be from Indigo Airlines.
IRCTC is an Indian public sector undertaking which provides ticketing, catering and tourism services for the Indian Railways. It has introduced pantry acrs inside medium and long distance trains and also operates food plazas, Jan Ahar and refreshment rooms at variousrailway stations in the country. It also owns the bottled water rail neer which are sold inside the trains and stations.
