BREAKING NEWS: REVIEW MEETING HELD UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF BIHAR TOURISM MINISTER TO PREPARE FOR THE 359 TH PRAKASH PARV

Bihar  Tourism Minister Shri Arun Shankar Prasad today chaired a high-level review meeting at the Tourism Department office in the Main Secretariat regarding preparations for the 359th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. The meeting was attended by Tourism Secretary Shri Lokesh Kumar Singh, Tourism Director Shri Udayan Mishra, Joint Director Shri Rajesh Raushan, General Manager of the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) Shri Chandan Chauhan, along with other senior officials.

During the meeting, the Tourism  Minister conducted a detailed review of tourism-related facilities, accommodation arrangements, and information centers for Sikh devotees and congregations arriving from across India and abroad for Prakash Parv. He directed departmental officials to ensure that all works are completed in a timely manner and with the highest quality standards. The Tourism Secretary informed that all necessary preparations have been completed by the department. A well-equipped Tent City has been developed with all modern facilities, along with the establishment of a Tourist Information Centre.

Following the meeting, Tourism Minister Shri Prasad inspected the under-construction Tent City at Kangan Ghat, Patna Sahib. He reviewed arrangements related to accommodation, food services, drinking water, medical facilities, transportation, and the information center. He instructed officials to ensure that devotees receive a comfortable and safe experience at every level, emphasizing coordinated efforts among all departments.

The Minister stated that the state government is strengthening coordination among the departments of Tourism, Transport, Art and Culture, and Urban Development, keeping in mind the needs of devotees, to further establish Patna Sahib prominently on the global map of religious tourism.
