Taj, the iconic brand from Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has been awarded ‘Best Hotels – Service Excellence’ at the prestigious PATWA International Travel Awards 2026, held at ITB Berlin. This accolade reaffirms Taj’s reputation as a global leader in hospitality.

Adding to this achievement, IHCL’s senior leaders Mr. Parveen Chander, EVP – Commercial, Mr. Gaurav Pokhariyal, EVP – Human Resources and Mr. Satyajeet Krishnan, SVP – Operations have each been honored with the ‘Individual Excellence in Hospitality’ award, recognising their outstanding contributions to the industry.

The PATWA International Travel Awards are among the most coveted honours in the travel and tourism industry. Organised by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA), these awards celebrate governments, organisations, brands, ministers and individuals who have demonstrated the highest standards of excellence and innovation in their field.
