Exclusive to Taj InnerCircle Platinum & Gold members, Loya at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, will welcome Exímia, São Paulo, for a special one-evening takeover on 12 September 2026.
As part of Taj InnerCircle Series, the Loya Qissa evening will bring together Exímia’s contemporary Brazilian cocktail programme with Loya’s Indian flavours, alongside an interactive experience with award-winning bartender Márcio Silva.
Here’s what makes the evening worth looking forward to:
1. The first of many Taj InnerCircle experiences
The Loya Qissa evening marks the beginning of a series of exclusive experiences curated for Taj InnerCircle members. The programme will bring members closer to the worlds of art, performance, books, jewellery and other cultural and lifestyle experiences.
2. Meet one of Brazil’s leading bartenders
Márcio Silva of Exímia, São Paulo, will take over the bar at Loya for the evening. Ranked No. 29 in The Bar World 100 2026, Silva brings his distinctive approach to cocktails and his experience from one of São Paulo’s most talked-about bars.
3. Exímia’s cocktails, now in Mumbai
Guests can sample cocktails from Exímia’s repertoire, alongside Loya’s signature creations, zero-proof beverages and a selection of spirits and wines. Exímia is currently ranked No. 61 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025.
The evening pairs Exímia’s cocktails with Loya’s Indian tapas, charred crudités, live tandoor selections inspired by the North and Saanjha platters. The menu brings together the bar’s Brazilian influences with Loya’s distinctly Indian culinary style.
5. More than just a guest shift
The evening will also feature an omakase cocktail tasting and an interactive Shakedown session with Márcio Silva, giving guests an opportunity to engage with the bartender and get a closer look at the craft behind the cocktails.
