In the annual function of Nem Prakashan Deh held on Sunday, the litterateur of Nem Prakashan Deh was felicitated at the annual function.
Eminent social worker Late Kamala Devi Ratnoo Smriti Sahitya Samman was announced every year in the presence of litterateur Pawan Pahangiya, president of Nem Prakashan Deh and litterateur Laxman Dan Kavia, Dr. Gajadan Charan.
Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, son of Late Smt. Kamla Devi Ratnoo, Assistant Director in the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of Rajasthan, posted at Rajasthan Information Centre, Kolkata, announced to give his award every year in memory of his mother. In this award, eleven thousand rupees in cash, shawl, turban, necklace, memento etc. will be given.
Incidentally, Late Smt. Kamala Devi Ratnoo has been a famous social worker of Bikaner city, Late. Kamala Devi Ratnoo was the daughter-in-law of Swami Krishnanand Saraswati, the national saint of Mauritius and the pioneer of Mauritius’s independence, and the religious wife of the pioneer poet of Dingle, veteran litterateur Bhanwar Prithviraj Ratnoo, an expert in Rajasthani folk culture, and sister of the revolutionary poet Manuj Depawat.
Twenty nine numbers of Rajasthani litterateurs were honored in the Rajasthani litterateur felicitation ceremony today at the annual function of Nem Prakashan Deh.
The chief guest of the felicitation ceremony was Dr. Manju Baghmar, Cabinet Minister of the Government of Rajasthan and Mr. H.R. Kudi were present on the stage as the special guest.
The other dignitaries included Dr. Zahoor Khan Mehar, Bhanwar Prithviraj Ratanu, Laxman Dan were poets. Chief guest Dr. Manju Baghmar in her address said that such events nourish literature and culture. Dr. Manju Baghmar praised the organiser, sponsor and coordinator for such a literary ritual.
Five hundred Rajasthani litterateurs, poets, writers and media dignitaries from remote areas of Rajasthan were present in this program. This literary ceremony was successfully conducted by Dr. Gajadan Charan, an eminent scholar of Rajasthani.
