Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Smt. Diya Kumari, as a new initiative, inaugurated the B2B exhibition at the Kota–Hadoti Travel Mart on Saturday, the second day of the three-day event being held in Kota, by cutting the ribbon at City Hill Art. She also visited and reviewed the stalls set up there.

While interacting with the media in the presence of travel agents, tour operators, and hotel industry representatives from 26 states of the country, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said that the Rajasthan Government’s vision is to organize Travel Marts and similar events not only in the state capital but also in other cities, so that tourism can be promoted at the local level. She said that at present tourist inflow is largely concentrated in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur, whereas there are immense tourism possibilities in other parts of the state as well.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that tourism should be promoted in those parts of Rajasthan where it has not yet developed to its full potential, especially at unexplored tourist destinations.

Diya Kumari said that efforts are being made to ensure that Kota–Hadoti is included in the travel itinerary of tourists visiting Rajasthan.
She said that Kota–Hadoti has many magnificent and unique attractions such as wildlife, the Chambal Riverfront, forts, palaces, miniature paintings, folk art, and handicrafts. The region has immense tourism potential due to its historical and heritage sites, religious tourism, rural tourism, and natural tourist destinations.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Kota–Hadoti Travel Mart 2026 is not just a business event, but a powerful platform to give a new direction to the cultural identity, natural beauty, and tourism potential of the Hadoti region. This event will play an important role in strengthening Rajasthan’s tourism sector while also creating new opportunities for development, investment, and employment at the local level.

She said that Kota will soon have an airport, road connectivity has also improved, and through the Kota–Hadoti Travel Mart the Rajasthan Government has, for the first time, made a focused effort to bring the region onto the tourism map. The participation of a large number of hoteliers and tour operators and the enthusiasm of local people in this event is commendable. This event is significant in establishing Hadoti as an emerging tourist destination. She added that in the coming times, Kota–Hadoti will emerge as a global tourist destination.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari visited the stall of the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan, and on this occasion, the Federation’s President Shri Hussain Khan, Kota Division President Shri Ashok Maheshwari, Patron Shri Surendra Singh Shahpura, General Secretary Shri Ranvijay Singh, along with office bearers from all divisions of the Federation, welcomed her and presented her with a bouquet.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister also released the souvenir of the Kota Division of the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan.

It is noteworthy that during the event, exhibitions and B2B meetings were organized, in which tour operators, travel agents, and representatives of the hotel and travel trade from India and abroad interacted with local tourism entrepreneurs.
At the exhibition, businesspersons from the tourism, hotel, travel, and hospitality sectors showcased their products and services through various stalls.
Tourism Commissioner Smt. Rukmani Riar said that through the Kota–Hadoti Travel Mart, the tourism potential of districts of the Hadoti region such as Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar, and Baran has been presented on a common platform. This will promote tourism investment in the region, the development of new tourism products, and employment opportunities. Tour operators are also being taken on familiarization tours of Kota and nearby tourist destinations so that they can include Hadoti in their travel packages.
