Every entrepreneur wants to succeed. Factors that contribute to entrepreneurial success are many: right project, right product, right technology, financial engineering and clever marketing and so on.
But one factor that is hidden and least talked about and least recognized is what we call as ” flexible mentality.”
Flexible mentality is a mindset. A psychological wireframe which equips you to take – a right operating decision – which is likely to get you the best results.
The problem is how to fix a mindset – which will ensure continuous success and optimum performance.
It is not like installing a software which will ensure the same results without any major involvement.
PROBLEM OF CHOICE:
In your entrepreneurial journey, one of the most important challenges you face is the problem of choice.
Should I work on my weaknesses or work on my strengths .Should I take a decision independently or collaboratively? Should I work more on my achievement or more on how to avoid failure ?
UNFIX MINDSET:
Over my experience of guiding budding entrepreneurs and my own business journey, I have realized that the game is not this or that – what works is an unfixed mindset.
The lesson is to avoid a single, rigid, consistent approach. And adopt an unfixed mindset and take decisions which the situation or context demands.
Apparently, the issue that comes on the bench is – should I work on my shortcomings when I am looking for an assignment or should I work on my strengths when I am pitching for an investment?
To this challenge, there is no yes or no decision.
You have to make a decision which the context or situation demands. Might be it apparently contradicts.
It is like – in an intense game of football match – the coach decides to slow down or fast forward the gameplay of the team depending on the course of the play.
