Delegates from Travel Agents fraternity of India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Vietnam has visited Sri Lanka to celebrate Vesak day.
Mr. Jagath Wickremerathna, Speaker of Sri Lanka Parliament has received the delegates of the Asian countries. Ms. Nithini Senanayake, assistant director of Sri Lanka Tourism Board was present.
Dr. Kaulesh Kumar, Secretary General of Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO) said that the visit was successful and such visits only cement the bilateral ties between the island country and India.
The delegation team comprised members of Association of Buddhist Tour Operators from India, Vietnam, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
ABTO is a platform of tourism in Buddhism. The association promotes Buddhist tourism in South east Asian Countries.
