Delhi Tourism organised a Familiarisation (FAM) Tour for media persons and social media influencers to showcase Delhi’s newly curated Spiritual & Heritage Tourism Circuits, announced by the Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, during the Spiritual & Heritage Tourism Conclave 2026 held on 11 August 2026 at Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, New Delhi.

The four circuits connect 21 prominent spiritual, religious, cultural and heritage destinations across Delhi, presenting them as integrated tourism experiences and highlighting the city’s rich traditions, architectural heritage and spirit of unity in diversity.

The four circuits are:

1. The Soul of Delhi –

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – Sacred Heart Cathedral – Agrasen Ki Baoli – Lotus Temple – Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple

This circuit brings together places representing different faiths and traditions, offering visitors an experience of Delhi’s spiritual diversity and cultural heritage.

2. The Heritage of Delhi –

Birla Temple – Jhandewalan Mata Mandir – Jantar Mantar – Yogmaya Mandir – Jagannath Temple The circuit showcases Delhi’s religious traditions alongside its historic and architectural legacy, taking visitors through some of the city’s important temples and heritage landmarks.

3. Delhi’s Sacred Harmony –

The longest of the four circuits, this route brings together diverse spiritual traditions with Delhi’s archaeological and architectural heritage, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the city’s deeper historical and cultural layers.

During the FAM Tour, participating media professionals and social media influencers visited key destinations and experienced their spiritual, cultural, historical and architectural significance first-hand. The tour is aimed at enabling content creators and media representatives to capture and communicate the unique stories, traditions, experiences and lesser-known facets of Delhi to audiences across India and overseas.

The initiative is part of Delhi Government’s vision to transform Delhi from a transit city into a destination city, encouraging visitors to stay longer and experience the capital beyond its conventional tourist attractions. The curated circuits bring together spirituality, heritage, architecture, history and cultural diversity in a structured and immersive tourism experience.

Through the FAM Tour, Delhi Tourism seeks to generate greater visibility for these circuits through media stories, digital content, photographs, reels, videos and social media campaigns, encouraging domestic and international travellers to discover the many spiritual and heritage treasures of the National Capital.

The initiative reinforces Delhi’s positioning as ā€œThe Capital of Spirituality, Heritage and Experiencesā€ and marks an important step towards showcasing the city as a vibrant, diverse and year-round tourism destination.
