EVENT : DINGLE’S PIONEER POET AND LITTERATEUR BHANWAR PRITHVIRAJ RATANU SHAMBHURAM DHOLIYA WILL BE AWARDED THE RAJASTHANI SAHITYA AWARD

Shambhuram Dholiya Rajasthani Sahitya Award for the year 2024 will be given by Nem Prakashan Deh (Nagaur) on the timeless work “Magre Ro Moti Minji Ratnu” by the pioneer poet of Dingle and a keen scholar of Rajasthani literature and folk culture, Mr. Bhanwar Prithviraj  Ratnoo.

Giving this information, senior Rajasthani litterateur, poet and president of Nem Prakashan Deh (Nagaur), Mr. Pawan Pahadia said that this time Nem Prakashan has selected Mr. Bhanwar Prithviraj ji’s timeless Rajasthani work “Magare Ro Moti Minji Ratnoo”.

Pawan Pahadia told that this work is a timeless book based on the life of the anonymous immortal martyr Minji Ratanu who sacrificed his life to establish peace. Minji Ratnoo sacrificed his life to stop the bloodshed of two armies.

His biography has been portrayed very effectively by the pioneer poet of Dingle and an expert in Rajasthani literature and folk culture, Shri Bhanwar Prithviraj Ji Ratanu. This work will be very inspiring for the future of Rajasthani literature. The selection committee has selected this work for the Shambhuram Dholiya Rajasthani Sahitya Award 2024.

Mr. Ratnoo will be given the award in a dignified ceremony.  As a reward, an amount of Rs. 11,000, quince, shawl, turban and memento will be given. It is known that Mr. Bhanwar Prithviraj Ji Ratanu had earlier been awarded “Art and Culture Preservation Award” by the Art and Culture Trust, New Delhi. Many awards and honors have been given by Agrabandhu and Mr. Prahlad Rai Goenka in the cultural capital of India, Kolkata, including “Dingal Sahitya Sadhak Supreme Award” worth Rs 31,000 and Ratighati Samman. Mr. Bhanwar Prithviraj Ji Ratnoo is a pioneer poet, litterateur and famous social worker from Dingle in West Rajasthan.

Mr. Bhanwar Prithviraj Ji Ratnu, organises the mega Dingle Kavi Sammelan every year on Navratri by Shri Karni Mandir Trust Deshnok for the preservation of Dingle literature for many years has been a commendable work in this area. It will be a proud and pleasant experience for Nem Prakashan to honor such a litterateur.
