The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, successfully hosted the Goa Roadshow 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 2nd December 2024 at the Hotel Wyndham Grand Tbilisi, Sky Venue. This invite-only event marked a significant milestone in promoting Goa as a sought- after travel destination for Georgian tourists.
The road show provided attendees, including travel industry stakeholders and media representatives, with an in-depth look at Goa’s distinctive offerings. Director Tourism, Mr.Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, presented a compelling overview of Goa’s unmatched tourism potential, complemented by an awe-inspiring video showcasing the state’s pristine beaches, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant festivities.
Reflecting on the event’s success, Director Tourism, Mr.Suneel Anchipaka said, “The Georgian market holds immense promise for Goa’s tourism. Through this road show, we aimed to establish deeper connections, showcase Goa’s unparalleled experiences, and address the expectations of Georgian travelers. We are confident this initiative will enhance their understanding of what Goa has to offer and will result in Goa welcoming more charters and tourists from Georgia.”
