A colourful cultural programme “Indradhanush ke Rang Lok-Sanskriti Ke Sang” was organised by the prestigious international literary organisation Rachnakaar at Rajasthan Information Centre, in which the rainy season was welcomed and Jhoolan-Utsav was celebrated in the regional folk languages of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed this programme which had full of songs, poetry and humour.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Ratan Shah and Ravel Pushp and while praising it a lot, they discussed the various dimensions of folk songs, folk music and proverbs.
The programme was organised by Mrs. Seema Sharma and Chanda Prahladka and Meetu Kanodia accompanied her in the dramatic direction. The beautiful decorations were done by Shashi Gaurav Sharma and Sheela Agarwal.
The program was started by the organization’s president Rachna Saran by singing the Rajasthani folk song “Hariyalo Sawan Jhirmir Jhirmir Naach Rahyo” and then a bhajan “Rangeela Shambhu Gaura Le Padharo”.
The organization’s founder chairman Suresh Chaudhary presented a song in Braj Bhasha, cultural minister Alok Chaudhary presented Kavad-Geet, Bharti Mishra presented Maithili,
Usha Jain Urvashi presented Haryanvi, Dr. Shipra Mishra presented Kajri Geet in Bhojpuri, Pranati Thakur presented Virahan Geet and Pooja Khanuja presented Punjabi song. Jeevan Singh won everyone’s heart by presenting Bhojpuri Sawan song.
At the end of the program, the vote of thanks was given by the founder chairman Suresh Chaudhary .
