FLAGGING OFF OF POORVA EXPRESS TO COMMEMORATE NEW STOPPAGE AT JAMTARA TODAY

Mr. Sunil Soren,  MP of Dumka in  presence of Mr. Irfan Ansari,  MLA flagged off 12303/04 Poorva Express  to commemorate it’s new stoppage at Jamtara Station   today.Mr.  Permanand Sharma,Divisional Railway Manager (DRM)  of Asansol was also present on the occasion.

In his speech Mr. Sunil Shri Soren,  MP thanked the  Prime Minister and the union  Minister of Railways for providing stoppage  of Poorva Express  at Jamtara Station to fulfil long cherished aspiration  of local people of  Jamtara and the adjoining areas. It will further improve the transportation facility for the people of this region. This will also boost up the socio-economic development of the region and  enable people of the area to have faster communication between Howrah & Delhi.

Mr. Irfan Ansari, MLA of Jharkhand also spoke on the occasion.

Shri Permanand Sharma, Divisional Railway Manager /Asansol  delivered his welcome address.

Shri Sharma   also inspected Jamtara Station and gave instructions to the concerned officials for further improvement  of the station.

It is to be mentioned that, 12303 Up Howrah – New Delhi Poorva Express will arrive Jamtara at 11.13 hrs. and will leave at 11.15 hrs. from Jamtara . 12304 New Delhi – Howrah Poorva Express will arrive Jamtara at 12.40 hrs. and will depart at 12.42 hrs.

After the programme at Jamtara,  Mr. Permanand  Sharma,DRM of Asansol visited Andal to inspect the progress of Non Interlocking work and advised the concerned officials to complete the work within the stipulated time frame to minimise passengers inconvenience.
