World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, one of the world’s leading travel and tourism marketplaces, commenced on 3 November at ExCeL London and will continue until 5 November. The three-day event brings together global tourism stakeholders, tour operators, travel professionals and destination representatives to explore business opportunities and forge international partnerships.

Madhya Pradesh, The Heart of Incredible India, is showcasing its diverse tourism portfolio at its dedicated pavilion (Stand N11-209), highlighting its rich heritage, culture, spiritual destinations, wildlife, adventure and sustainable tourism experiences.
The Madhya Pradesh Pavilion was inaugurated by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, and Smt. Sudha Murty, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, and Founder of Infosys Foundation, in the presence of Dr. Abhay Arvind Bedekar, Additional Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, and other distinguished dignitaries and tourism stakeholders.
The pavilion showcases the State’s three UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Khajuraho, Sanchi and Bhimbetka – along with its renowned wildlife destinations, including Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Panna and Satpura. Spiritual destinations such as Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar and Chitrakoot further highlight the State’s appeal to international travellers.

The State is also promoting emerging travel experiences centred on slow tourism, sustainability, rural tourism and immersive cultural interactions. Destinations such as Orchha, Mandu, Maheshwar and Chanderi offer opportunities to explore heritage walks, traditional crafts, local cuisine and community-based experiences.
The Madhya Pradesh delegation, led by Dr. Abhay Arvind Bedekar, includes senior MPTB officials and ten tourism stakeholders representing hotels, tour operators, destination management companies and wildlife tourism.
