Celebration of “World Heritage Day – 2025” in the land of Enlightenment and Salvation.
INDIATOURISM Patna, Ministry of Tourism, government of India had successfully celebrated “WORLD HERITAGE DAY-2025” on 18th April 2025 in association with Aassociation of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO) and Yuva Tourism Club of Guide and Tourism Stakeholders in Bodhgaya.
Mr Sudama Kumar, Secretary General, Bodhgaya Hotel Association , Mr Ramji Sharma , Hotel Association of Bodhgaya, Mr Mrityunjay Kumar Rai, GM, Hotel Anand International, Mr Amit Kumar Pandey, GM, Fern Hotels, Mr Deenu Singha , Secretary, Bihar Guide Association, Mr Chandan Kumar, Socialist, Bakraur, Bodhgaya, Mr Prashant etc were present and gave their nice speeches on this occasion.
Dr Sujeet Nayan sir, ASI Head, Patna Circle had given his kind support.
In this celebration, around 35 students participated and got aware about tourism of India through our rich heritages.
On this occasion, with more then 45 participants, a Small Seminar was also held at Hotel Mahamaya Bodhgaya among the students, Guide and Stakeholders in this meeting.
Under this celebration, a day tour programme to Heritage Sites of Bodhgaya and around was arranged for Tourism Stakeholders. A team of 45 students, guides, stakeholers etc. participated in this heritage tour at Bodhgaya and around.
During this tour, participants visited various heritage sites such as – Sujata Fort, Brahamana Kushgram, Matha, Niranjana River, etc.
Apart from it, in this heritage tour programme, about 20 Villagers, Farmers etc. have also participated and supported each other for the purpose.
On the Occasion of World Heritage Day, trees are also planted in the monuments area.
Mr Manoj Kumar ,A.S.I., Incharge, sujata fort, Bakraur, Bodhgaya, Bihar also gave his kind support.
