Low cost airline of Thailand, Nok Air will start flight services from Hyderabad to Bangkok from 19 February 2023.
Initially, Nok Air will operate four nonstop flights every week from its hub Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok to Hyderabad. The new route will be operated by state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 with 189 Economy Class seats, the airlines has already stated.
Commenting on this development, Mr. Wutthiphum Jurangkool, Chief Executive Officer of Nok Air said , “ India is a very important and old friend of Thailand, and at Nok Air, we are elated to welcome onboard passengers from Hyderabad with direct flights starting 19th February 2023. We hope to increase the connectivity to more cities in India this year. Nok is the number one choice among Thai Carriers, providing customers true value for money, reliability, convenience, and care.”
Nok Air is a small, budget airlines operating from the Thai capital of Bangkok to 24 airports throughout Thailand and 9 destinations in China, India, Myanmar and Vietnam. ‘Nok’ is a Thai word meaning a ‘bird’.
Nok Air began its first international service on 31 May 2007, with daily flights to Bengaluru in India, but suspended these flights in 2020.
