RAILWAY : EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN HOWRAH & RAXAUL AND KOLKATA & PATNA DURING CHHAT FESTIVAL

KOLKATA, 14 NOVEMBER 2023:

In the light of the upcoming Chhat festival, Eastern Railway is pleased to announce the run of two special trains between Howrah & Raxaul and Kolkata & Patna.

03045 Howrah – Raxaul Chhat special train will leave Howrah at 23:00 hrs. on 16.11.2023 to reach Raxaul at 14:15 hrs. on the next day and 03046 Raxaul – Howrah special will leave Raxaul at 16:55 hrs. on 14.11.2023 & 17.11.2023 to reach Howrah at 08:50 hrs. on the next day.

03133 Kolkata – Patna special (via Dankuni) will leave Kolkata at 23:55 hrs. on 14.11.2023 & 16.11.2023 to reach Patna at 10:30 hrs. on the next day and 03134 Patna – Kolkata special (via Dankuni) will leave Patna at 14:30 hrs. on 15.11.2023 & 17.11.2023 to reach Kolkata at 00:25 hrs. on the next day.

Both The trains will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction enroute in both the directions.

Both the trains will have general second class & sleeper class coaches.

ONE FESTIVAL SPECIAL TO RUN  BETWEEN  UDHNA & HOWRAH:

To clear the extra rush of passengers during Dipawali & Chhath festival, Railway has decided to run one  festival special (one way) train between  Udhna & Howrah.

09041 Udhna – Howrah  Special (one way) will leave Udhna at 06:00 hrs. on 15.11.2023 to reach Howrah  at 22:45 hrs. on the next day.

The train will stop at Asansol and Barddhaman stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction enroute.
